Stayed for 1 night, the hotel was nicely appointed and reasonably clean, it had quiet and ideal location very near to Florence centre. The room they gave us was new-fashioned and tastefully decorated with stunning views, correct furnishings plus a balcony. We didn't want to say goodbye, couldn't recommend more...

I loved spending my time in this reasonably clean traditional hotel. The nice-size rooms had a mini-bar, satellite television, and climate control. The staff were service-minded and professional. The hotel met what I needed.

The ambiance, the spacious room offered at price rate of 139 euro with a nice balcony. Well located a little outside the center (perfect if you have a car). Nice old style pool to refresh after walking in the city or day of work. The historical villa building and the outside park are a very beautiful mixture of art and history. Fantastic breakfast area on the terrace facing the swimming pool.
Might be noisy at summer (with open windows) earing the sound of the cars on the adjacent streets. The extra costs for car parking might be avoided.

This is the only hotel we would reccommend in Florence. Our daughter spent a year there receiving a master in European Economic Policy. She was able to show us the entire area around Florence from this small gem of a hotel. It is more like an exclusive villa than hotel. Staying in Park Palace, which was apparently the Swiss consulate at one time, gives one the opportunity to experience the hillside/Tuscan flavor of the Florence area. There are quite a few significant gardens and churches, restaurants within 5-10 minute easy walk, and the city center is downhill, about 15-20 minutes walking. We are in our 60s and if we go to Firenze again, we will stay there. The pool and gardens, terrace restaurant are exceptional.
The balcony could have had a more welcoming feel.... Maybe a sweeping daily, or some flowers.

The staff may offer the room which is not located in the main building. There is no description about the additional building, so this can be an unpleasant surprise upon arrival to the hotel. This is not bad, but it has no view, close to the road, and the exterior can't be compared with the main building, you also have to walk for a breakfast in the mourning or to lobby (it was not convenient as we stayed in winter and it was cold in the mourning).Try to get information about your stay beforehand for not being surprised.

We stayed at this peaceful hotel for 4 nights. The location was incredible on the hillside. The triple room was airy and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was great with scrambled eggs as a hot option. The food was outstanding. Excellent service, we had a perfect 10/10 time.

Garden; style; ambiance; breakfast; comfort, beds, lounge, garden, breakfast on terrace; most staff.
Lack of view despite website saying: 'an exquisite panoramic view of the city'. Maybe some rooms but it's surrounded by close mature trees. Broken furnature, no bath plug and on one afternoon, returning hot and tired there was no hot water for a relaxing bath. Not being warned about mosquitos although from a comment from member of staff it was clear they were aware of a problem and in our room the anti-insect device had been disconnected - result over 45 bites between us and quite severe reaction. Although it is difficult for them to control nature we felt the steps taken were insufficient eg checking room units plugged in. See below the yes is a 'yes but'
